What's Quietly Draining Your Profit?

Poor Cash Management
Cash flow gaps between jobs leave you scrambling to cover payroll and materials, forcing expensive emergency financing decisions.
Neglected Cost Controls
When costs go unchecked, profits quietly disappear and cash flow gets tighter every month.
No KPI Tracking
Flying blind without key metrics means missing early warning signs of problems and opportunities for growth.
Weak Pricing Strategies
Guessing on price or copying the competition may win work, but it drains profits and keeps your business stuck.
No Plan For Growth
Without financial strategy, scaling becomes chaotic and risky instead of systematic and profitable.
These issues block scale and quietly kill profitability, keeping great contractors trapped in survival mode instead of building wealth.

Chad Sales

I’m a CFO with years of experience leading financial strategy, building detailed cash flow forecasts, financial models, and reporting systems that give leadership teams clarity and confidence. I’ve overseen core functions such as budgeting, HR, IT, audit, and risk management, with a focus on efficiency and long-term stability.
Early in my career, I worked extensively in capital planning and operations strategy, which shaped how I connect financial planning directly to business growth. I’ve also supported mergers and acquisitions by building and analyzing financial models that informed leadership decisions on potential deals.
Today, I draw on this mix of operational, strategic, and transactional experience to help owner-led companies strengthen their operations and prepare for the future.

"Chad makes complex problems simple. That’s the best compliment I know to give. when you work with Chad, you are working with a problem solver, not simply someone who understands money."

More from Daniel Sinclair
"I understand our balance sheet and profit/loss on a base level, but I never understood exactly how money flowed in and out of accounts—and why. Being in HVAC and plumbing my whole life, I know how to fix issues and work with my hands, but trying to understand the ins and outs of accounting is not in my wheelhouse.
Chad is able to bring numbers down to a level that I can understand clearly. I remember Chad spending a lot of time teaching me about amortization and depreciation schedules in a way I’ve never been able to understand. He takes his time and has so much patience. He tells me frequently that he will explain a concept as many times as it takes (and I have had to take him up on that many times!).
With our recent acquisition, he guided us through every aspect of the accounting and projections. Chad makes complex problems simple. That’s the best compliment I know to give—when you work with Chad, you are working with a problem solver, not simply someone who understands money.
Every quarter, we have spikes and dips in different departments and Chad is able to recognize those patterns and help us find solutions to reduce the highs and lows, and give us a more predictable financial forecast. I have a newfound confidence in my knowledge of reports and overall financial status of the company. Working with Chad has helped me become a better owner and leader.
To anyone considering working with Chad, my recommendation is a resounding YES, you should. For many of us, we know how to run departments, order parts, and problem-solve. But when it comes to the financial aspect of business, we struggle to understand it in a way that helps us make smart future decisions. Chad is able to spotlight areas of improvement, potential inconsistencies, and provide solutions. On a personal level, I need someone who is looking out for my best interest and looking at numbers from an owner’s perspective. Chad does that and more and I cannot recommend his services enough to other business owners."
